Currently, we import a trusted blacklist from the german computer magazine IX, from their NiX SPAM-project.

The imported data does not influence our TOP25 and blocking stats, cause it's not rated.

Currently, this list contains a list of 39.977 unique IPs.

Now what does mapping mean?

For each IP, we check for the smallest netrange in the netsecdb - if it's not already registered (ARIN, LACNIC, AFRINIC, NICBR), we try to import current whois and again look for smallest netrange. This will be marked as spammer.

Because the NiX-SPAM list (like all the others) do not know about the ranges, we are procesing a lot of duplicate records.

So please understand, that we currently need a little more system resources than usual.
